First Brands Group in Chapter 11 with $11 Billion of Liabilities

September 28, 2025 - First Brands Group, an aftermarket auto parts manufacturer, filed for Chapter 11 with over $11 billion in total liabilities, including more than $6 billion in on-balance sheet debt and approximately $2.3 billion in off-balance sheet financing.
